At ONLYBEES we are set to build something massive. We are looking for a relentless, hands-on Lead Software Developer to drive our technical vision, lead our engineering team, and execute across the entire stack.
This is not just a management role, it is a builder's role. We need someone who can take absolute ownership of complex technical tasks, translate product requirements into reality, and keep the engine running smoothly. You will be stepping in to handle high-level, hands-on technical execution, ensuring seamless delivery while keeping technical leadership completely in the loop.

This role reports directly to the Department President.
What you will do
- Lead and manage: direct the day-to-day operations of the tech team, ensuring high engineering standards, fast shipping cycles, and a culture of accountability.
- Build across the stack: dive deep into the codebase. You will be architecting, coding, and deploying full-stack solutions.
- Own the execution: take high-priority, hands-on tasks off the plate of the technical leadership, executing them flawlessly while maintaining transparent and consistent communication loops.
- Bridge product and engineering: analyse and define product requirements. When needed, step directly into a product management capacity to ensure what we build aligns with user needs and business goals.
- Drive the vision: report directly to the Department President, ensuring technical milestones align with the broader company trajectory.
What we are looking for
- The builder mindset: you are not just a coder, you are a creator. You care about the product, the architecture, and the end-user experience.
- Full-stack fluency: proven ability to navigate and build across complex, modern tech stacks without hesitation.
- Leadership chops: experience, or the raw undeniable capability, to manage, mentor, and lead a technical team through high-pressure sprints.
- Adaptability: a high tolerance for ambiguity and a steep learning curve. You pivot fast and fill gaps, technical or product-focused, before they become blockers.
- Communication: the ability to execute autonomously while intuitively knowing when and how to keep leadership informed and looped into the process.
